At the Peggy Guggenheim in Venice, CEDIT encounters “The Art of Design”
Against the intriguing backdrop of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, a thrilling journey through the world of art and design experienced and told through the differing viewpoints of a special audience.
The evening focused on the subtle interweaving that underlies the eclectic duo of Art and Design, characterised by different methods and aims but identical intentions. A perspective – shared unanimously – that finds tangible expression in CEDIT: the brand eloquently sums up the dialogue between art and design, allowing artists ample scope for creative expression on unlimited surfaces, placing ceramics in the service of art.
The evening, which took place on 1st July, was moderated by Ettore Mocchetti, editor of the prestigious architecture and interior design magazine AD – Architectural Digest, and featured guest speakers Domitilla Dardi (Design Curator of the MAXXI in Rome), Benedetto Fasciana (Creative Director of Matteo Thun Atelier), Martino Gamper (Designer) and Franco Guerzoni (Artist).
